~2% of Light
~2% of light (2013)
This piece explores the scanning and abstraction of glass negatives from the 1870’s. Selections of objects that were moving in the frame become “re-animated” using analygraph 3-Dimensional imaging. Viewers wearing red/cyan glasses see multiple opaque images creating a ghostly depth of 3-dimensions and black and white photography.
